Measuring Standard Shapes:
Window measurements needed: Separate width and height measurements in inches, rounded up to the next inch. Measure from side to side for width and top to bottom for height. (See illustration)
It is possible to replace two double or single hung windows with one slider. (See illustration, far left)
Note: Tempered glass is a required by most Building Departments and should be added as an option on windows that are within 18 inches from the floor, at a stairway landing, in a bathroom tub/shower stall, or entry door side lights
